We offer:
15 minute appointments
Best for simple returns or quick questions.
45 minute appointments
Recommended for business returns, farmland, Schedule C, trusts, rental property, or if you have multiple questions or concerns.
Appointments are available in person or virtually. We respectfully ask that you attend your appointment or notify us if you need to cancel.
If your return includes:
• W2 income
• Bank interest
• Basic investments
A 15 minute appointment is typically appropriate.
If you have:
• Farmland
• Schedule C self employment
• Business income
• Trust income
• Rental property
• Several questions or concerns
Please schedule a 45 minute appointment.
We also ask that you bring your last two years of tax returns, 2024 and 2023, either paper or digital. Reviewing prior years helps ensure accuracy and consistency.
We offer secure options to protect your information.
In Person Drop Off
You may bring documents during office hours. If you have questions, please schedule a 15 minute appointment so we can give you our full attention.
Secure Drop Box
Located next to our office door. Locked, bolted to the building, and monitored by camera. A folder is acceptable, but an envelope is preferred.
Client Portal
Upload documents securely through our tax software portal.
Secure Shared Folder
We can send you a secure upload link. Please do not email tax returns, Social Security numbers, or sensitive documents through regular email. Email is not secure.
Ideally, we review your last two years of tax returns. Consistency matters and helps ensure your return is complete.
Here is what you can expect:
• We review for completeness and accuracy.
• We are not auditing your prior preparer.
• If we notice something, we will bring it to your attention.
• We explain options so you can make an informed decision.
• We will not force you to amend a return.
Our goal is education and clarity.
You may drop documents off, use the drop box, upload securely, or schedule an appointment to review together.

If you are unsure about how much to pay or which quarter to select, schedule a short appointment so we can review it together.

Once your return has been accepted, the IRS or Minnesota Department of Revenue controls processing times.

We keep the process simple and structured:
• Complete two required documents
Engagement Letter and Tax Questionnaire. Returns will not begin until both are received.
• Send us your tax information
In person, dropbox, secure Tax Portal upload, or mail.
• We prepare your return
Once everything is received, we complete your tax return accurately and efficiently.
• Sign and review
Sign electronically or in person. A brief 15-minute review is available in office or virtual.
• Pay and receive your return
Multiple payment options are available. Final copies are picked up in office or downloaded securely from the Tax Portal.
